Statement on the CFPB’s Claims about ACE Cash Express

July 12, 2022, Washington, D.C., – INFiN, a Financial Services Alliance, issued the following statement, attributable to executive director Ed D’Alessio, addressing the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)’s claims about ACE Cash Express:

“INFiN steadfastly stands by our member company, ACE Cash Express, which is challenging the claims the CFPB announced today and has been engaging with the Bureau on this matter for some time. INFiN is steadfastly committed to consumers and consumer protections, including providing an extended payment plan (EPP) as part of our best practices, as well as transparency and disclosure in all transactions and interactions with consumers.”
